Anthropic announced Claude Frontier Academy, a $100 million initiative to train 10,000 "Frontier Deployed Engineers" (FDEs) by the end of 2027. The residency-style program — running cohorts in San Francisco, New York and London and starting with engineers nominated from firms such as Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk — follows a multi-day in-person curriculum, a 12-week supervised deployment, and assessment badges (Resident Engineer and Frontier Deployed Engineer).
