Restate raises $20M Series A to expand durable workflow infrastructure for AI agents
Berlin-based Restate, founded in 2022, closed a $20M Series A led by Singular with participation from Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures to scale its durable execution engine used for long-running, agentic AI workflows; the company plans to hire go-to-market staff, add engineers, and expand its San Francisco office. Restate differentiates by building its own storage, replication and redundancy layers (not relying on external databases) and has customers including Replit and Fortune 500 firms.
