OpenAI expands Codex at DevDay with Codex Security Cloud, Decisions API (GPT-6 Luna), and Ultrafast
At DevDay 2026 OpenAI announced multiple Codex updates including reusable cloud development environments, a voice-controlled CLI, a code review view in the ChatGPT desktop app, and Codex Security Cloud to scan repositories and prepare fixes. It also launched a Decisions API (limited preview) built on GPT‑6 Luna for fast classification/decisions, added Computer Use to the Agents API, and introduced an Ultrafast premium speed tier (available for GPT‑6 Astra on Enterprise and Pro 500 plans; reported at six times the standard rate).
