Microsoft Research announces Quine, a multimodal 'world model' for biology
Microsoft Research introduced Quine, an experimental multimodal world-model and harness that links models, scientific tools, literature, and researchers to prioritize and reason about biological interventions. In collaboration with the Broad Institute, the team says Quine helped prioritize compounds and validated several top-ranked candidates across multiple wet-lab assays; access will be piloted via a Quine Fellows program and the system is explicitly for research, not clinical use.
